Welcome

The e-journal "GMS German Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery - Burn and Hand Surgery" (GMS GPRAS) comprises all fields of plastic surgery and is freely available to scientists, professionals and the public (Open Access). As the official journal of the Deutsche Gesellschaft der Plastischen, Rekonstruktiven und Ästhetischen Chirurgen (DGPRÄC) and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Verbrennungsmedizin (DGV), it publishes current clinical and experimental research results from the whole field of plastic surgery.

Scientifically active surgeons are invited to submit their work to GMS GPRAS. They will be published after having passed a thorough peer review by DGPRÄC's referees. Bilingual papers (English and German language) are accepted. New manuscripts may be submitted via the Manuscript Operating System (MOPS) of gms. Please consult the authors' guidelines first.
