Welcome to the 33rd International Congress on Electrocardiology in Cologne, Germany June 28th until July 1st, 2006. This meeting is the annual conference of the International Society of Electrocardiology and will be held under the auspices of the German Society of Cardiology and Cardiovascular Research and the German Society of Pediatric Cardiology.

The scientific goal of the meeting is an update on the impact of the electrocardiogram in various fields: from basic research to general practice. It will be an update on modern cardiac electrophysiology in diagnosis and treatment, which is changing very rapidly. For the success of the meeting a leading group of international scientists has agreed to participate and contribute to the scientific impact of the meeting.
